Zdeno Chara feels better than expected

WILMINGTON, Mass. -- The Boston Bruins have players coming and going due to injuries.

Captain Zdeno Chara is doing better than he expected after he suffered a lower-body injury during Saturday's 5-3 victory over the Blue Jackets in Columbus, but he did not practice Monday and likely won't play Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings at TD Garden.

But he's optimistic he won't miss too much time.
