Tuukka Rask wants to stay with Bruins

A backup with No. 1 credentials, goaltender says he's hoping for a long stay in Boston

WILMINGTON -- While reigning Vezina and Conn Smythe Trophy winner Tim Thomas continues to play at a high level, his backup for the Boston Bruins, Tuukka Rask, has been even better.

In 13 games, Rask (8-4-1) has a 1.61 goals-against average and .945 save percentage, both best in the NHL. He recently had a shutout streak of 170:26 and is riding a four-game winning streak with two shutouts during that stretch.
