Bill Belichick's son joins Pats staff

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick announced some new responsibilities for coaches Thursday and there is a notable addition to the staff in 2012 -- Belichick's son.

Steve Belichick, 25, played four seasons of lacrosse at Rutgers before walking on to the football team as a long snapper in 2011, and has been named a Patriots coaching assistant. A coaching assistant is an entry-level position that includes a variety of responsibilities.
