Glenn Ordway out at WEEI

Longtime WEEI sports radio host Glenn Ordway, one of the most recognizable voices on Boston sports radio and an industry fixture since the 1970s, said Wednesday he has been let go by the station.

According to several reports, he is being replaced by ESPN Radio host Mike Salk.

The Boston Globe first reported the news Wednesday morning. Ordway confirmed he was let go by WEEI during the opening of his 2-6 p.m. ET program, "The Big Show," which he co-hosts with Michael Holley.
