Source: Aqib Talib out vs. Jets

New England Patriots cornerback Aqib Talib will not travel with the team to New York and will not play in Sunday's matchup with the Jets, a league source confirmed to ESPNBoston.com.

The Boston Herald reported earlier that Talib would not travel.

The veteran cornerback, who has emerged as a top playmaker for New England's defense, was listed as doubtful Friday as he continues to deal with a hip injury suffered last week against the New Orleans Saints.
