TORONTO -- The Boston Red Sox were pounding the ball all over the place Wednesday night. Clay Buchholz appreciated the support, but he sure didn't need it.
Buchholz pitched seven shutout innings to earn his major league-leading sixth win, Mike Napoli hit two of Boston's five home runs and the Red Sox routed the Toronto Blue Jays 10-1 on Wednesday night.More From ESPN.com

The Red Sox haven't seen a pitcher dominate like Clay Buccholz to start a season since Roger Clemens back in 1991. The Rocket went on to lead the AL in ERA and win the Cy Young that season.

Blue Jays RHP R.A. Dickey has been diagnosed with mild inflammation in his neck and back following an MRI, and will get an extra day of rest before his next start, Saturday against Seattle. RHP Josh Johnson, who was scratched from his start last Friday with tightness in his right triceps, will return to the rotation Friday. ... Boston OF Shane Victorino (back) swung the bat for a second straight day and remains on track to take full batting practice Thursday. Victorino, who has not played since Apr. 24, hopes to return for Friday's game at Texas. Victorino has missed six straight games.
