The NBA fined Boston Celtics forward Gerald Wallace $10,000 for using profane language following the team's 109-85 loss to the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.

Asked about the team's lackluster effort, Wallace told reporters in Houston, "I don't know what the f--- that was, to be honest."

The Rockets jumped to an 18-1 lead in the first quarter and led by as many as 35 points in a game that was never close. The Celtics (4-8), losers of four straight, shot a season-low 32.3 percent.

Boston visits San Antonio on Wednesday night.
