The NBA fined Boston Celtics center Kevin Garnett $25,000 Wednesday for failing to make himself available to reporters following a Game 7 loss in Miami.

Garnett, set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer, left an air of uncertainty about his future when he bailed out of AmericanAirlines Arena following a 101-88 loss that ended Boston's season on Saturday night.

Of course, $25,000 is a mere 0.12 percent of Garnett's $21.2 million salary and likely won't spoil his offseason.

It should be noted that Garnett was fined for failing to talk to reporters, not for leaving the court early. The television broadcast appeared to show both Garnett and Rajon Rondo leaving the court with time still on the clock. Rondo addressed the media at the podium following the game.
