NEWTON, Mass. -- Boston College running back Andre Williams suffered a right leg injury in the second quarter against Wake Forest. The sophomore walked off the field on his own power, was examined on the bench and then taken to the locker room for X-rays.

The team announced Williams has a sprained right ankle. He did not return against Wake Forest.

Williams had just two carries for 1 yard in the Eagles' 27-19 loss.

Later in the second quarter, sophomore defensive tackle Jaryd Rudolph left the game with a lower left leg injury.
