FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung and running back Kevin Faulk have been fined $7,500 apiece for penalties in last Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Chung's fine was for unnecessary roughness, grabbing the opponent by the face mask in an attempt to tackle him. Chung was penalized on a fourth-quarter play in which he tackled receiver Antonio Brown on a 2-yard reception. It is Chung's second fine of the season.

Meanwhile, Faulk's fine was for a fourth-quarter chop block. He was penalized on the play, a third-and-8 in which he was credited with a reception for minus-6 yards.

The only Steelers fine in the game was given to safety Ryan Clark for his late hit on tight end Rob Gronkowski. Clark's fine was $15,000.
