FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco sat out Friday's practice due to a hamstring injury and is one of 11 players questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, according to the team's final participation report of the week.
Linebackers Brandon Spikes and Dane Fletcher are out, while wide receiver Wes Welker and guard Brian Waters are probable. Ochocinco and Deion Branch -- limited the last two days due to a hamstring issue of his own -- headline the group of questionable players, which also includes cornerback Devin McCourty and safety Patrick Chung.
This is the first time Ochocinco has missed practice this season. He was present in the Patriots' locker room after the team's session on Friday and packed a travel bag for Sunday's game, but declined comment when asked about his absence from practice.
It's been an unproductive year for Ochocinco, who has caught a mere 11 passes for 201 yards through 10 games. He's appeared on just 208 offensive snaps (by comparison, Welker has appeared on 630 and Branch on 598). That includes 11 snaps for Ochocinco in Monday's lopsided win over the Chiefs.
The Patriots re-signed wide receiver/return man Tiquan Underwood on Thursday, giving the team seven wide receivers on their 53-man roster. Four of those receivers -- Welker (knee), Branch (hip), Taylor Price (hamstring), and Matthew Slater (shoulder) -- were limited or missed Friday's session.
