Patriots' Matt Light (ankle) sidelined

New England Patriots starting left tackle Matt Light was among seven players listed as inactive for Saturday's 27-24 win against the Miami Dolphins at Gillette Stadium.

Light, an 11-year veteran who has had a strong season protecting
quarterback Tom Brady, was hurt in pregame warmups.He was being watched closely by team doctor Thomas Gill as he loosened up on the field before the game, and kept looking down at his right foot as he worked on getting out of his stance.

The Patriots were also without two other starters for the seventh straight game, safety Patrick Chung with a foot problem and linebacker Brandon Spikes with a knee injury. Also inactive for the Patriots were tackle Sebastian Vollmer, defensive lineman Ron Brace, running back Shane Vereen and quarterback Ryan Mallett.

For the Dolphins, starting tight end Anthony Fasano was out with a concussion. Also inactive for Miami were running back Steve Slaton, tackle Will Barker, guards Ryan Cook and Ray Feinga, defensive end Ryan Baker and quarterback Pat Devlin.
