FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots rookie defensive end Chandler Jones was the lone New England player limited in Thursday's practice, putting his status for Sunday's AFC Championship Game in question.

Jones injured his ankle late in the first half of the divisional-round win over the Houston Texans and missed the remainder of the game.

Jones was noncommittal on Thursday when asked how confident he was that he would suit up against the Baltimore Ravens.

"I'm doing everything I possibly can to be out there and play against the Ravens," he said. "I'm doing my best to get out there as soon as possible."

Although Jones might not play, he still fielded questions about the possibility of being on the opposite sideline of his brother -- Ravens defensive end Arthur Jones.

Chandler Jones, who spoke with his brother briefly this week, said his family will be in attendance for Sunday's game.

"I feel like it's a very exciting day for my family. Win or lose, they'll be happy," he said.
