BOSTON -- Bruins defenseman Dennis Seidenberg will not travel with the team to Ottawa for Saturday's game after he suffered what appeared to be a right leg injury in the waning minutes of Friday night's 5-0 win over the Senators.

"He's being evaluated right now, and I was told he's not coming on the trip with us," said Bruins coach Claude Julien, who described it as a lower-body injury.

Seidenberg left the game with just under five minutes to play in regulation after he was tangled up behind the Boston net with the Senators' Cory Conacher. After the collision, Seidenberg remained on the ice for a moment, grabbing his right knee before skating off on his own and going to the locker room. He did not return.

He finished with 18:45 of ice time. Seidenberg missed four games last month due to a lower-body injury.
