MONTREAL -- More than 21,000 tickets sold out in two hours for Game 7 between the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins -- to watch on a video screen.

Montreal's Bell Centre will be packed with fans Wednesday night when the Canadiens and Bruins play at TD Garden, more than 300 miles away. Tickets cost $10, with some of the proceeds going to a Canadiens charity fund for children.

In 2010, store windows were smashed and rioters clashed with police after fans at the Bell Centre watched the Canadiens eliminate the Penguins in Pittsburgh. Police have beefed up their playoff presence in recent years and always have a strong presence on bustling Sainte-Catherine Street before and after games, particularly for series-deciding matchups.

A team spokeswoman confirms alcohol will be on sale at the arena.
