WASHINGTON -- For the first time since he suffered a groin/abdominal injury on March 3, Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask will dress as the backup for Game 6 of the Boston Bruins' quarterfinal series against the Washington Capitals.

During Rask's absence, both Marty Turco and Anton Khudobin served as the backup to Tim Thomas.

Thomas struggled in Game 5 and admitted after the 4-3 loss that he should have stopped the last two goals.

Forward Patrice Bergeron will play for the Bruins, while defenseman Joe Corvo was ruled out. Mike Mottau will take Corvo's spot on the blue line.

Bruins forward Shawn Thornton was also ruled out and was replaced by Jordan Caron in the lineup.
