Phillips fits very much into the same category as Will Smith, who is higher on this list, as he's a seasoned veteran who is best suited to catalyze a pass rush in a situational role. He played very well for Denver last season, registering 10 sacks during the regular season. He has natural quickness and length to beat opposing offensive tackles around the edge, and with Chandler Jones able to rush from a three-technique, the Patriots have room for an additional rusher to play in sub packages. Phillips may be looking to parlay his productive 2013 season into one last multiyear deal, which could price him out from the Patriots. But if he wants to play for a contending team that offers him the chance to contribute a rusher, the Patriots could be a useful landing spot. -- Yates
