10. Sox Blow 9-0 Lead vs. Yankees

And now for the 10 worst moments of 2012, starting with -- who else? -- the Red Sox.

April 21: One of the first signs that the Sox were in big trouble was when they blew a 9-0 lead and watched the Yankees rally for 15 unanswered runs to win at Fenway Park. For the first time, Bobby Valentine was met with a chorus of boos -- and it wouldn't be the last. "I think we've hit bottom," Valentine said afterward. "If this isn't bottom, we need to find some new ends of the earth." (Note: It wasn't the bottom.)
