    Beginning Of An Era

    Within the span of less than a week, the Celtics traded away Doc Rivers, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, officially ushering out an era of prosperity for Boston. What follows is a look back at some highlights:

    The new Big Three era began in July 2007, when Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett teamed up with Paul Pierce, 21 years after the Celtics' last title. The Celtics made a draft night trade to land Allen, then added Garnett via trade shortly afterward.
