After the Rays tied the game at 1 in the top of the ninth, Jonny Gomes ended it with a two-run homer in the bottom of the inning. The win gave the Red Sox a doubleheader sweep of the Rays. "Long day at the yard. Two wins kind of sums it all up," said Gomes, who connected on the first pitch he saw from Joel Peralta (1-3).
