Free agency is still a few weeks away, but it's never too soon to start thinking about what this Red Sox team will look like going forward. There's currently no manager, several key players will become free agents and there are a handful of players under contract whom some fans would like to see sent packing. So to say there is work to be done is an understatement. Complicating matters is the fact that we're not even sure who will be making these important decisions. General manager Theo Epstein, according to a source, would consider leaving for the right situation elsewhere.

Here's where you come in. Vote in the polls below and let us know what decisions you'd make if you were in charge of the Red Sox. You can also share your thoughts in the comments section.

This interactive feature is broken up into three sections:

Free-agent decisions: Right out of the gate, the Red Sox must decide which, if any, of their departing free agents (or players with club options) to try to bring back next season.

Players under Sox control: These players are currently under contract or arbitration eligible, but there's at least some sentiment among fans that their time in Boston should be up. Not included on this list are shoo-in returnees like Jon Lester, Dustin Pedroia, Adrian Gonzalez, Jacoby Ellsbury, Clay Buchholz and Daniel Bard.

Managerial decision: What kind of skipper should be the team's next bench boss?
