Simpson returning to Deutsche Bank

Current U.S Open champion Webb Simpson is scheduled to be returning to the Deutsche Bank Championship later this summer to defend his title, according to tournament organizers.

Simpson recorded his second PGA Tour win at last year's Deutsche Bank Championship, beating Chez Reavie on the second hole of a playoff.

The tournament, which is held at TPC Boston (Aug. 31-Sept. 3), is the second leg of the Fed Ex playoffs.
