After his win Saturday night in a rematch with Vanes Martirosyan, junior middleweight titlist Erislandy Lara wants a major fight. He wants either a rematch with Canelo Alvarez or a shot at Gennady Golovkin. If he can't get one of them he wants to keep defending his title and break the division record of 11 defenses in a row set by Gianfranco Rossi between 1989 and 1994. "If either fight can't be made, then my focus will be to put my name in the record books," Lara said. "All the fights at this level are tough so to break the record for most consecutive title defenses at (junior middleweight) would be unbelievable."
