Another crossroads fight? You bet. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. holds a paper middleweight title that he seeks to validate. Sergio Martinez is the linear champion intent on retrieving his old hardware to further solidify his claim. More than a decade separates the two fighters, and there might soon be a difference between them on the scale: Martinez says he still can make 154 pounds (where he once held an interim title and currently can make the most lucrative fights), and Chavez has hinted at a possible jump to 168 if he continues to have trouble making weight. But there's no point worrying about what the future holds for two fighters matched in such a compelling bout right now, a blockbuster that arguably rates as the biggest in the career of either man.
