Manny Pacquiao rarely has faced an in-his-prime fighter as fast and elusive as Timothy Bradley Jr., instead favoring more frontal, flat-footed opponents during his recent run. With few exceptions, most of Pacquiao's best opponents have been brawler types. Now the Filipino star will measure himself against a tough, skilled and defensive-minded fighter, which is sure to trigger discussions about how Pacquiao would fare against a mastermind with a similar skill set: Floyd Mayweather Jr. Manny's task, then, is to win and do so convincingly enough to (hopefully) keep a Mayweather fight on the table. Bradley's charge is more straightforward, but no less difficult: Maintain his own unbeaten record in the biggest fight of his career by bringing down an iconic eight-division champ and future Hall of Famer.
