Glen Johnson retires after loss

Former IBF light heavyweight champion Glen Johnson lost a controversial 10-round decision to contender Andrzej Fonfara on Friday night at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago.
Fonfara (22-2, 12 KOs) defeated the 43-year-old Johnson (51-17-2, 36 KOs) with the judges scoring the fight 99-91, 97-93 and 97-93.
After the fight, Johnson announced his retirement.
