Five keys for Gennady Golovkin

Gennady Golovkin (27-0, 24 KO) of Kazakhstan will defend his middleweight title for the fourth time in 2013 -- and ninth overall -- against U.S. contender Curtis Stevens (23-2, 18 KO) on Saturday in New York.

Golovkin is riding a streak of 14 straight knockout wins, and although Stevens is a power puncher in his own right, he lacks GGG's amateur background and, seemingly, nuanced boxing skills.

Here are five keys to victory for Golovkin against Stevens:

Constant attack mode

Mental control

Watch the counterpunch

Keep the hunger alive

Have a backup plan
