What does Flacco deal mean for QBs?

Joe Flacco has turned his Super Bowl-winning performance into a six-year, $120.6 million contract, making him the highest paid player in the NFL by annual salary. But his contract could be surpassed soon by the Falcons and Matt Ryan, and will surely be smaller than whatever contract Aaron Rodgers ends up signing with the Packers. What does the future hold for Ryan and would the Cowboys re-upping long-term with Tony Romo be a mistake?
