CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bears signed defensive back Sherrod Martin and promoted offensive tackle Nick Becton to the active roster and waived punter Spencer Lanning and linebacker John Timu, according to a league source.

Rozsival put on long-term Injured Reserve

Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsival was placed on long-term injured reserve Tuesday while he is still recovering from a fractured left ankle he suffered in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs last season. He'll remain on IR for at least 24 days or 10 games.
