White Sox sign Ishikawa to minors deal

According to MLB.com's Scott Merkin, Chicago has signed Travis Ishikawa to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training. SB Nation's Chris Cotillo reports that should Ishikawa make the team, his contract would include a $900K base salary.

Mat Latos agrees with White Sox

The free-agent RHP agreed to a one-year, $3M with Chicago, according to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick and media reports. Latos, 28, had a 4.95 ERA with a 4-10 record last season with the Marlins and Dodgers.
