Carlos Rodon was cruising along without a shutout before the O's scored three in the fifth, but it wasn't all Rodon's fault: There was a walk, an error by Brett Lawrie, an infield single and Jimmy Rollins threw away a double play ball when his cleat stuck in the dirt. All runs were earned but Rodon's defense let him down.

Bears are coming up in second round (No. 49) after trade with Buffalo. A strong name to consider is Ohio State safety Vonn Bell. Chicago needs help in the secondary, and Bell is a versatile player who projects at either safety or corner in the NFL.

Jihad Ward had a great week at the Senior Bowl. Physical, strong at the point of attack. Think he can bump inside and produce some interior pressure. More defensive help for the Raiders.

Jaylon Smith graded out as a Top 5 player before the knee injury. Pass rush ability, athleticism and pro size. Rare talent. Could be a steal for the Cowboys when he is fully healthy and back on the field. Smith is expected to sit during the 2016 season.

Leonard Floyd played offense and defense in high school, but knew he wanted to focus solely on defense at Georgia, because "the guys who sack the quarterback get paid the most."

Jeff Dickerson ESPN Staff Writer

Another knock on Floyd is that he only had 4.5 sacks at Georgia last year. Floyd says the way Georgia used him on defense affected his numbers. "A lot of time on 3rd down I was dropping back into coverage and not rushing," Floyd said.

Some question whether Leonard Floyd is strong enough to get off blocks in the NFL. Floyd tells us he weighs 240 pounds, but admits the Bears will want him to gain weight.

Kiper scouting report: Jaylon Smith

Mel Kiper Jr. breaks down the film on Dallas' second-round pick, Jaylon Smith. What makes the linebacker such a special talent?

Jeff Dickerson ESPN Staff Writer

New Chicago Bears outside linebacker Leonard Floyd has landed in Chicago and is headed to the team facility. After brief meetings with coaches and members of the front office, Floyd is scheduled to address the media around 5 p.m. ET. The Bears have two picks on Day 2, No. 41 in the second round and No. 72 in the third round.

Notre Dame offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock said he never worried about new Texans receiver Will Fuller's hands. "I think Will would be the first to admit that there were some balls he should have caught that he didn't," Denbrock said. "But there were also a lot of balls that nobody else but him could've caught."
