Jaylon Smith graded out as a Top 5 player before the knee injury. Pass rush ability, athleticism and pro size. Rare talent. Could be a steal for the Cowboys when he is fully healthy and back on the field. Smith is expected to sit during the 2016 season.

Leonard Floyd played offense and defense in high school, but knew he wanted to focus solely on defense at Georgia, because "the guys who sack the quarterback get paid the most."

Another knock on Floyd is that he only had 4.5 sacks at Georgia last year. Floyd says the way Georgia used him on defense affected his numbers. "A lot of time on 3rd down I was dropping back into coverage and not rushing," Floyd said.

New Chicago Bears outside linebacker Leonard Floyd has landed in Chicago and is headed to the team facility. After brief meetings with coaches and members of the front office, Floyd is scheduled to address the media around 5 p.m. ET. The Bears have two picks on Day 2, No. 41 in the second round and No. 72 in the third round.

Notre Dame offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock said he never worried about new Texans receiver Will Fuller's hands. "I think Will would be the first to admit that there were some balls he should have caught that he didn't," Denbrock said. "But there were also a lot of balls that nobody else but him could've caught."

We want bluebloods to play again

Notre Dame put the kibosh on future games with Michigan in 2014, but Brian Kelly is on record saying things may be heading back in a direction that would put the teams back on the field. That would certainly make us happy. Rivalries that should be back on the schedule
