Bulls fans have a lot to be happy about after the first two quarters of the season. The team looks rested and ready, but there are definitely a couple of ways for Chicago to improve. Let's take a look at some of the game's keys up to this point as the Bulls lead the Spurs 47-46 at halftime.

1. Derrick Rose looks good.

A lot of people wondered how Rose would play after missing three weeks with an ankle tendon injury. He has proved all the people who doubted him wrong. The Chicago point guard has nine points, three rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes of play. Coach Vinny Del Negro wanted to watch his minutes, so it will be interesting to see how much he plays in the second half.

2. Deng looks great.

Speaking of health, Luol Deng has given fans hope that he is back. The forward sat out the end of last season with a stress fracture, but he isn't showing any ill effects. He has eight points and four rebounds and looks comfortable running up and down the floor.

3. Ice the Spurs

Kirk Hinrich's 3-pointer at the end of the half gave the team a big boost, but Chicago has to find a way to cool off San Antonio. The Bulls are 18-for-48 (37.5 percent) from the floor. The Spurs are 19-for-38 (50 percent).

4. The rise of Taj

How many times do you think we will see that headline this year? Taj Gibson continues to prove why the Bulls coaching staff likes him so much. In 11 minutes, the rookie has six points, five rebounds and an assist. The USC alum definitely can fill out a stat sheet.
