What's happening:Alfonso Soriano is back in the starting lineup today, and Sam Fuld is out. If the Cubs' left fielder doesn't get a few hits today, he might hear even more boos than Milton Bradley usually does. Soriano finally has some competition for his spot in the lineup, and if he can't turn things around over the next few days, there will be plenty of cries to put Fuld back in there. In the meantime, the Cubs go for three wins in a row today against a pitcher in Suppan, whom they've already beaten twice this year.
Keep an eye on:Derrek Lee. The Cubs' first baseman had two home runs and seven RBIs on Thursday night and has been crushing the ball of late. He is 21-for-47 in his career against Suppan with four home runs and seven RBIs.
What's happening: The Sox are the hottest team in baseball right now, having won six games in a row. Danks should give them a chance to make it seven tonight. Over his last three outings, the tall left-hander has worked 21 innings and given up just four earned runs. The only thing that may stand in the Sox's way is Greinke, who has given up just three earned runs over his last two starts.
Keep an eye on:Jermaine Dye and Scott Podsednik. Dye is 15-for-39 in his career off the Royals right-hander with three home runs and nine RBIs, while Podsednik is 13-for-27 with an RBI.
