That means the fourth and fifth starters are 12-22 with a 5.02 ERA.
Contreras has been sent to the bullpen. Bartolo Colon is lost in space, and the team's new fifth starter -- Freddy Garcia -- faced Boston on Tuesday night with a hefty 10.38 ERA after his first start last week.
White Sox brass may be thinking that Peavy is going to throw 100 pitches in his next start, regardless of whether it's at Triple-A or with the major league team.
