Marian Hossa leaves with injury

CHICAGO -- Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa was ruled out for the remainder of Saturday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins after suffering an upper-body injury in the first period at Soldier Field.

Hossa's final shift ended with 6:34 remaining in the first period, and he did not return to the ice. The Blackhawks announced he would miss the remainder of the game prior to the second period.

He played six shifts and had 4:18 of ice time in the first period.
