Blackhawks extend Brandon Bollig

CHICAGO -- The Blackhawks announced Monday forward Brandon Bollig has agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension.

The deal is worth an average of $1.25 million per year, sources told ESPN.com's Piere LeBrun.

Bollig, who was set to become an unrestricted free agent after the season, is now signed through the 2016-17 season.
