Peavy not ready; won't guess on return

Chicago White Sox pitcher Jake Peavy said Wednesday he won't try to guess when he'll be ready to pitch again in the major leagues.

"I don't think that's smart," said Peavy, who injured a tendon in his right ankle and has been on the DL since June 9.
