Hawks to announce deals for trio

The Chicago Blackhawks will announce that young stars Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Duncan Keith have agreed to contract extensions during a news conference on Thursday, a source told ESPNChicago's Jesse Rogers on Wednesday.

A source told ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun that forwards Kane and Toews will each receive five-year deals for $31.5 million and a $6.3 million average salary. Keith, a defenseman, gets a 13-year, $72 million contract that averages $5.54 million per season.
