J.D. Folsom joins Bears' practice squad

LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- The Bears filled out their practice squad Monday by adding former Miami Dolphins linebacker J.D. Folsom, a seventh-round pick in the 2009 draft.

Folsom played in two games for the Dolphins last season, contributing one tackle on special teams.

A former Weber State standout, Folsom was waived by the Dolphins last year on Sept. 5, before joining the practice squad a day later. The Dolphins activated Folsom on Nov. 8, and waived him again 13 days later, then signed ...
