Macari Brooks commits to DePaul

DePaul coach Oliver Purnell is out to bring winning back to Lincoln Park, but it appears as if he is also looking to return the fun.

After bringing in high-flying Crete-Monee forward Jamie Crockett as his first recruit, Purnell added Rich South senior guard Macari Brooks, an equally gifted athlete, on Wednesday.

Brooks, a 6-3 guard, is the No. 60th-ranked guard in the Class of 2011 by ESPN Recruiting.
