Carlos Boozer has hand surgery

DEERFIELD, Ill. -- Chicago Bulls forward Carlos Boozer underwent surgery Tuesday morning to repair a broken right pinkie.

He is expected to miss between six to eight weeks, according to Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau.

"From what we heard, it went well," Thibodeau said of the surgery. "So we're encouraged by that, and now it's just a matter him going through his rehab."
