Bears elect Robbie Gould

The Chicago Bears on Wednesday unanimously voted kicker Robbie Gould as the team's new NFL Players Association representative, a position currently held by veteran linebacker Hunter Hillenmeyer.

Gould served as an alternate for the past year.

Hillenmeyer pushed for his teammates to elect a new player representative after he was placed on injured reserve September 14 due to a concussion. Players on IR tend not to be around the facility every day. Because of the NFL labor uncertainty, ...
