Jesse Crain signs with White Sox

The Chicago White Sox made it official Monday, announcing that former Minnesota Twins reliever Jesse Crain signed a three-year, $13 million deal to switch teams in the American League Central.

The contract calls for Crain to make $4 million in 2011, and $4.5 million each in 2012 and 2013. Crain said the Twins didn't make an effort to keep him before he signed with Chicago.
