Latest reclamation project has found a home in White Sox's rotation

CHICAGO -- Sitting at the edge of the Chicago White Sox dugout Sunday morning, Phil Humber cuts an inconspicuous, unimposing figure. He is sitting atop the dugout seats, holding a baseball.

It's quiet at U.S. Cellular Field, two hours before 25,000 fans will watch Jake Peavy leave with a groin injury and the Sox get walloped by the Detroit Tigers.

Ask pretty much anyone who works in and around baseball, and they'll tell you this is the best part of the day, when the stadium is empty ...
