Jake Peavy headed back to DL

CHICAGO -- White Sox right-hander Jake Peavy said he is headed back to the disabled list with a strained right groin.

The team hasn't made it official, but Peavy said before Tuesday's game against the Mariners that he's talked to general manager Ken Williams.

"I just saw the doctor, and I think we're going to have to go the conservative route," Peavy said. "Obviously, I wanted to try to push through it and do what we needed to do, but I think we're looking at the disabled list ...
