John Danks has mild oblique strain

DENVER -- The Chicago White Sox were pleased with John Danks' MRI results that showed only a mild strain of his right oblique.

Danks was injured while pitching in Saturday's game against the Washington Nationals and was put on the 15-day disabled list a day later. It is the first DL stint in Danks' nine-year professional career.
