Andrew Cashner ready for catch?

CHICAGO -- Chicago Cubs right-handed pitcher Andrew Cashner, who has been on the disabled list since April 8 with a right rotator cuff strain, is in Chicago to visit team orthopedic doctor Stephen Gryzlo.

If Cashner passes all the strength and flexibility tests, he'll start playing catch for the first time since re-injuring the shoulder in late May, according to a Cubs source.
