Report: White Sox, Cardinals talk trade

CLEVELAND -- Ending a void of White Sox trade scuttlebutt, the Sox are reportedly discussing a deal with the St. Louis Cardinals, according to a story in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Looking to bolster their pitching staff, the Cardinals would be willing to part with talented center fielder Colby Rasmus for Edwin Jackson or Matt Thornton, and a prospect, according to the report.
