Source: Bears approve new CBA

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- Chicago Bears players voted unanimously during a team meeting Thursday afternoon to approve the new collective bargaining agreement, according to a source close to the situation.

And the rest of the league followed suit.

NFL players ratified the new CBA Thursday afternoon, allowing free agents to take the field. The Bears have a practice scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
